主讲人简介：

  王国亮，北京理工大学教授、博导，主要研究方向是代数组合学。2010年毕业于南开大学组合数学中心，后于北京大学和以色列海法大学从事博士后工作，2014年入职北京理工大学，曾访问MIT一年，现主持国家自然科学基金面上项目，与人合作在《中国科学》等发表论文30余篇。

主讲内容：

  The 3+1 conjecture on the e-positivity of chromatic symmetric functions of certain graphs has been considered as one of the most interesting conjectures in algebraic combinatorics since its birth in 1993. This talk is a short introduction to some leading problems and breakthroughs around.
